Since applying exactly 1 year ago to the IBM's Corporate Service Corp (CSC) program, it's hard to believe that I'll be setting foot in Recife, Brazil 25 days from today!
I'm excited to finally meet my 14 other team mates from Singapore, Japan, Australia, USA, UK,
Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland and Romania and get to know the city of Recife that will be my home for 1 month.
For the past couple
of months I have been preparing for this trip, team building, completing
education, vaccinations, VISA application, learning about Brazil & slowly absorbing Brazilian Portuguese. Now for one of the final pieces of preparation....starting a blog & Twitter (@sonyafav)!
This will definitely be an experiment in finding out how much I have to say and who actually will choose to listen :)
